Luak Esplanade, Miri, Sarawak - Lautan terbentang luas

Luak Esplanade merupakan salah satu tempat perkelahan yg agak terkenal di Miri ini, terdapat beberapa kenderaan yg menjual makanan ringan disini......jgn tak tau ade Bay watch lagi U...sayang Jie x sempat nak ambil gambarnya.....
Jauh di tengah lautan, kelihatan pelantar minyak..ini merupakan yg paling hampir dgn Miri.

Water for life.......
|
|
Water, water everywhere,
In yards, houses and even cars,
Animals scramble for higher ground
But alas, none can be found.
Dark clouds disperses its fury,
Exploding upon earth's vunerable bed.
The sun fights back,
But water's strength overpowers sun.
Everyone and everything
surrender to water's unbeatable power.
Toys, rugs, clothes and chairs succumb,
Drapes collapse from the burdens they bear.
ENOUGH! ENOUGH! Earth screams out,
But there is no stopping water now.
It gushes, it rushes and rages,
Like a valiant soldier at war,
Mercilessly striking everthing in its path.
What fury! What relentless energy!
It laughs in the face of its victims,
As it bashes, crushes and destroys
Water,water everywhere.

Fire cracker - eve of raya - Miri

Menjadi satu kejutan budaya buat diri Jie......mercun dibakar tepat pada jam 12 tengahmalam pd mlm raya......ditanya pd anak Jie..kenapa....udah menjadi adat disini...membakar mercun....
Kalau disemenanjung...alamatnya....mmg nak kena kejar dgn parang ler......
Pada Jie pulak...baik Jie cari bantai and tidur selena-lenanya kerana sudah letih memasak pd siangnya...
Buat semua..........culture shock mmg good kalau kita memahami...tapi pd yang tidak memahaminya...addooooooooiiiiiii...kantoi hehehhehehe
